Testimonies of CCS alumni, parents, family & friends
I am often over at Centralia Christian School at odd hours doing various things, and it never ceases to amaze me that I usually find one or more teachers preparing, planning, or working on something that is behind the scenes. Sometimes I wonder if these people ever rest; I’ve never seen a more dedicated staff. It is as if they are dedicated to something that they feel is the most important task in the world. Then I realized . . . they are! The coming generation is crucial. And then I realized that I am one of the beneficiaries of their labors. My son didn’t just get a high quality academic education with a Christian perspective, he got to know these teachers; it is people who affect our lives. And it hasn’t stopped—even though he graduated from CCS over a year ago, he still crosses paths with them from time to time—or contacts them on his own, which they gladly welcome. Their quality of character is still affecting him today. . . and me too.

I was so impressed with my granddaughter’s kindergarten year at Centralia Christian School! She loved it – it was fun as well as teaching her so much! Thank you!

I attended CCS for preschool through 8th grade. Looking back I can see how it not only gave me a strong, biblical foundation (that has benefited me greatly today), but helped preserve my childhood longer than most. Because of this, I am very excited to be able to send my daughter to the same school. CCS is highly recommended for any child!

CCS is definitely a family, not just a school! My wife and I send all four of our kids because we know they are getting a Christian education and getting to know Jesus.
—Carl Buster
Centralia Christian School offers much more than reading, writing and arithmetic. The biblical principles and Godly examples of the teachers and staff are so valuable in teaching them how to live out the Christian life each day. We are blessed to be able to send our kids there!

Centralia Christian School gave my son, Brett Phillips, great social skills as well as great study habits. He learned from a loving and caring STAFF! The benefits that students get from a CCS education far out weigh the cost of tuition! It would still be a bargain at twice the price!!
—Happy Parents off three CCS graduates
CCS gave me a biblical perspective. They prepared me to be “in the world, but not of it,” and for that I will always be thankful.
—Kirsten Sarri
We are so thankful for what the Christian School did for our kids. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the growth we witnessed in our kids both academically & spiritually. The Lord has become #1 in each of their lives and we know that CCS played a big part! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
—Riki & Jill Saari
I am very thankful for CCS. They have prepared how to study and learn in a very loving and foundational atmosphere. CCS has been a true blessing for my family and one of the best decisions we have made for our daughters' education.

How wonderful to come by the CCS fair booth and see it here after all these years – same spot, smiling faces, warmth and draw. God is good. The school has truly blessed our family – 26 years and beyond. Thank you!

Centralia Christian School was and still is my home and family. Sixteen of the students in my 8th grade class had been in the same class since Kindergarten, and the small class size made for amazing lifelong friendships. The teachers take extra time to really care about the students, and I am still close to my former teachers and classmates.
—Lauren Gilham, CCS class of 2009
My name is Tricia and I have gone to CCS since Kindergarten and it has really helped me grow in my faith and learn kindness, respect, grace and mercy. My life is much closer to God and closer to my friends and family.
”I am impressed with CCS’s vision for Christian education, the nurturing staff and positive learning environment and feel that my experience and skills would fit well with your educational program. I would consider it an honor to work at CCS. As a teacher, I believe in the importance of a Christ-centered education and will strive to encourage students in their relationship with God, while promoting excellence in academics. I am more interested in a student truly understanding a concept than in simply passing a test. Therefore, I hope to instill a joy of learning by using creativity to make history and literature ‘come alive’.”
