See how many levels you can advance in math!

When: On Wednesdays from 9:30-11 am

(From June 24th through August 12th)

Where:  Centralia Christian School

Why:  To encourage our students to: continue reading and doing math through the summer, build their skills, prevent summer boredom, and having fun challenging a friend!

How:  CCS students read an AR book of their choice and then come to CCS on Wednesday morning to take a test. Following the reading test, the students stay and play some math games to keep those math skills sharp!

"Book It" Program with Pizza Hut

Research shows that children without access to summer learning opportunities lose up to one month of grade level equivalency.

From June 22-August 15, BOOK IT! wants to help beat the "summer slide" by keeping your students reading with the Summer Reading Challenge.

With a goal of collectively reading 1 million minutes by August 15, the Summer Reading Challenge incorporates an interactive experience with the Wimpy Kid Gang, exciting rewards for reading throughout the summer and a chance to win prizes just for reading 5 books!
